Urs of Hazrat Abdul Qadir Jeelani unites various faiths

Situated in the Khanyar area of old Srinagar city, the Shrine witnesses a rush of devotees throughout the day. Recently, special prayers were offered to celebrate the Urs of the Sufi Saint. Whether one is Hindu, Muslim, Sikh or from any other community, the aroma of the shrine serenades them into cheerfulness and a belief of fulfillment ensues in them.
