Programming languages are often chosen for speed, ease of use, etc. But what is the most secure programming language? If you are building a mission critical app where security is key, it is better to choose the most secure programming language rather than choosing one of the above. A security first (aka secure by default) programming language will provide you with guiderails that push you towards writing secure code.
